If you strain the yogurt it becomes much thicker. This dish is great for dipping veggie sticks . Or as a side for Barbecued foods.
Ingredients
- 300g Greek yoghurt
- 1/2 cucumber peeled
- 2 cloves garlic peeled
- 1/2 lemon zested and juiced
- Sea salt & black pepper
- 2 tbs chopped mint
- 2 tbs chopped dill
Method
1Â Â Strain the yoghurt in a cheese cloth for 20 minutes.
2 Â Grate the cucumber into a bowl, season well with salt and pepper then mix well.
3Â Then drain is a sieve for 10 minutes.
4Â Squeeze out all the excess liquid from the cucumber.
5Â Finely chop the garlic.
6Â Add all the ingredients into a bowl, mix well.
7Â Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
